For savings groups and vslas
For savings groups and VSLAs
Your group meets every week with a lockbox and a record book. In group mode, Akiba Ledger is designed to keep that book on one phone, with no network, and add up the share-out to the shilling.
The whole meeting on one phone
Attendance, shares bought, the social fund, repayments and fines for every member on one screen, saved on the phone and sent when there is a network.
Your group’s own rules
The share value for the cycle, one to five shares a meeting, the fines your constitution sets, and loans with the group’s monthly service charge.
The lockbox and its keys
The box counted at the start and end of each meeting, with the three key holders recorded.
One moment of network
Approving a loan and paying it out need the phone to connect for a moment, so two phones can never lend the same money. Everything else in the meeting works with no network.
